Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients
3 Cups Uncooked Macaroni Pasta (Divided)
4 Tablespoons Butter (Divided)
2.5 lbs Grated Medium Cheddar Cheese (10-12 Cups) (Divided) Nana says that you can’t use too much cheese. 😊
2 Cups Milk
Salt And Pepper To Taste
Instructions
Boil Pasta in salted water with a dash of olive oil. Drain well, but do not rinse.
Place half of the pasta into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
Dice up 2 tablespoons of butter and distribute over pasta.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Spread 5-6 cups of shredded cheese on pasta.
Repeat steps above for second layer.
The dish will be quite full, but will settle when cooking.
Pour 2 cups of milk along edges of dish.
Bake uncovered @ 350 for 30-40 minutes, or until edges are browned and crispy.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
