Nana’s Glazed Orange Rolls
Ingredients
*For The Rolls:
1 Tablespoon Yeast
3 Well Beaten Eggs
1 Cup Luke Warm Water
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Sugar
4 Cups Flour
1 Cube Melted Butter (or margarine)
*For The Filling:
1 Cube Soft Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
The Rind Of 1 Orange
*For The Glaze:
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Juice Of An Orange (Add Enough Juice To Make Thin Paste)
Instructions
Mix Yeast, Sugar and Water. Set aside 5 minutes.
Add Butter, Eggs and Salt to Water and Yeast.
Add Flour and mix well.
Let rise 3-6 hours, or overnight in fridge.
Mix up the filling.
After the dough has risen the first time, roll it out and spread the filling on it.
Roll up dough into cinnamon roll shape, and cut into approximately 1 inch slices.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Let rise 2-3 hours.
Bake at 365 for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cover with glaze while warm.
