Crockpot Chuck Roast

Description

Chuck Roast and gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, in bread bowl, etc.

Ingredients
2-3 pound Chuck Roast
2 Cups Baby Carrots
2 Cups Beef Broth
1 Package Beef Gravy Mix
1 Package Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
1 Package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
4 Cloves Minced Garlic
1 Diced Sweet Onion
Steak Seasoning
Onion Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
For thicker gravy, add enough water to 2 tablespoons of corn starch to make a slurry. Stir into the gravy just a few minutes before serving to thicken it up.

Instructions
1. Rub the steak seasoning on both sides of the roast.
2. Season with a dash of onion powder.
3. Spray the crockpot with cooking spray to ease in cleanup.
4. Place the roast into the crockpot.
5. Add Carrots, and all other ingredients. Stir.
6. Cover and set on high. Stir occasionally.
7. Let cook for a minimum of 6 hours, or until falling apart tender.
8. Remove excess fat, and shred meat.
9. Serve over mashed spuds, rice, in bread bowls, etc.
