Baked Carrots
Ingredients
15 Carrots, Peeled.
1/3 Cup Butter, Softened.
1/2 Cup Sugar.
1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt.
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon.
1/3 Cup Boiling Water.
1 Tablespoon Orange Juice.
Fresh Parsley, Chopped, Optional.
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Clean carrots & arrange in a 9x13 Pan.
3. Using an electric mixer, cream the butter, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. While the mixer is running, slowly add the boiling water and orange juice.
4. Pour the mixture over the carrots, and cover with foil.
5. Bake for 90 minutes.
6. Remove the foil, place the carrots into a serving dish and drizzle them with the cinnamon butter from the baking dish.
7. Garnish with parsley if desired.
