Description
Funeral potatoes.
Ingredients
1 lbs Bag Frozen Hash Browns
1 Medium Onion, chopped
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
1 Can Cream of Potato Soup
1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
Plus enough extra grated cheese to cover the potatoes.
Instructions
Mix above ingredients, and refrigerate overnight. (In an emergency, refrigeration not needed)
Bake 2 hours @ 300, covered, in a greased 9x13 pan.
5 minutes before finished baking, uncover the spuds and cover them with the extra cheddar cheese.
Finish baking.
(They can also be made in a Crockpot.)
I think the overnight in the fridge is to thaw the spuds, nothing more.
